Health Care Managers
What eHealth skills should I ask for?
Well structured electronic health records (EHRs) are essential if we are to obtain a sustainable health system capable of providing safe and high quality healthcare whilst meeting all necessary health care demands. In this scenario Health Care Managers need to be able to make optimum use of available eHealth technologies.
Short Courses and Subjects offered for health care managers focus on foundational eHealth technologies incl. system specification, procurement, implementation and evaluation, individual electronic health record structures, methods of information and clinical knowledge transfer, storage, access management, retrieval, and the use of clinical information and knowledge for reporting, monitoring, statistical, epidemiological and policy analysis and for funding purposes.
You can select sets of short courses that collectively are equal to either an undergraduate or post graduate degree course subject. There is an additional cost for assessment to enable you to transfer credits based on successful completion to a University degree program at the Univeristy's discretion based on suitability to the chosen degree program. We have adopted the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) as the standard for credit transfer purposes.
